The ground rules

These terms are the agreement between you and PlanItPika when you use the site and app. By creating an account or using PlanItPika you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

1. Your account

• You need to be at least 13 to use PlanItPika, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• Use your real email addresses and confirm them. Keep your password to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• Only add email addresses that are yours. Confirming an address is how we know it belongs to you.

2. Check your plans

PlanItPika reads booking emails, puts times on a map, suggests plans and works out travel times, often with AI. It is a planning aid, not a travel agent, airline or booking service. It can misread an email, get a time zone or opening hour wrong, or suggest something that doesn’t work. Always check the details that matter (flight times, check-in, reservations) with the airline, hotel or provider. We aren’t responsible for missed flights, bookings or other losses caused by relying on what the app shows.

3. Your content

Your trips, notes, photos and emails stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run PlanItPika for you and the people you share with, as described in the privacy policy. Only upload or forward things you have the right to.

4. AI and keys you provide

AI features run on the AI provider key you add, and your use of that provider is under its own terms and charges. The same goes for flight-status and other keys. Assistants you connect over MCP act with the access you give them; you’re responsible for what you let them do.

5. Fair use

Don’t use PlanItPika to:

• break the law, or upload anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
• send spam or mail people who haven’t agreed to it, including through sharing or invites;
• forward someone else’s mail, or try to get into an account or trip that isn’t yours;
• attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.

6. Sharing

When you invite someone or share a link or PDF, they see what you share. You decide who and you can take it back, but we can’t un-send an email or recall a file someone has already downloaded.

7. The service

PlanItPika is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, with nightly backups, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and you can stop using PlanItPika at any time.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, PlanItPika isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on the app instead of checking with the provider. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app or by email. Using PlanItPika after a change means you accept it.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA.
